If the reports making the rounds are anything to go by, Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla may be on his way out of the Emirates next summer.
Cazorla is out of Arsenal by the end of this season and he is yet to be offered an extension – The Scudetto holders Juventus have reportedly opened talks with the midfielder.
Juve have approached Cazorla in an attempt to prevent him signing a new Arsenal deal, which has yet to be offered by the north London club, reports Calciomercato.
Although, Arsenal are focused on offering Mesut Ozil and Alex Sanchez improved contracts, Cazorla said he would be happy to pen another Arsenal contract.
“If they’ll offer me a new contract, I’ll sign it because I am very happy with this great club. I am happy here. I am trusted by the manager and my team-mates.”
News of Juventus’ interest in the diminutive Spain international will surely spark Arsenal into action over offering him a new deal.
Despite having a plethora of midfielders, Cazorla is indispensible at the moment and we must ensure he stays back beyond his current deal.
