BAD NEWS: African Footballer Of The Year Snubs Arsenal To Join Rivals – Fans Will Be Sad

You don’t have to be a football enthusiast or pundit  to know that Arsenal cannot do without a high-scoring finisher to lead the club’s attack. The fans have been crying foul, but the it might get worse before the close of the market.

According to latest report, Arsenal target Yacine Brahimi is currently in talks with Everton, as the Merseyside club looks bolster their attack before the close of the window.

Skysports, claim that negotiations between the Merseysiders and the Portugese club are progressing very well as Ronald Koeman looks to sign another attacking player.

The skillful winger, who joined the Portuguese outfit from Granada, is understood to be training alone because he wants his future to be settled but it is believed that he would prefer a move to Champions League side like Arsenal.

The Mirror had reported that Arsenal were weighing a £40million rated Brahimi but may have now withdrawn interest and they look at other options.

He has registered 20 goals and 22 assists in 86 appearances for the Portuguese giants

He picked up the BBC African Footballer of the Year Award for 2014 but hasn’t looked the same player since he returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 which seems to be a large part of why Porto are trying to sell him.
