ARSENAL and Chelsea are tracking RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.

Gulacsi has impressed in the Bundesliga and has attracted interest from the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring his situation, according to ESPN.

Leipzig challenged Bayern Munich last season and finished second, qualifying for the Champions League.

And they sit third this year after keeping hold of their star players during the summer.

But next summer might be different with Naby Keita already agreeing to join Liverpool and Timo Werner also impressing big clubs in Europe.

And Arsenal and Chelsea could go head-to-head for their goalkeeper.

Arsenal are starting to look for long-term replacements for Petr Cech, who is 35, and has 18 months left on his contract.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are staying aware of the goalkeeper market with interest in Thibaut Courtois expected to come from Real Madrid.

Gulacsi spent five years at Liverpool, meaning he would be considered homegrown in the Premier League, before moving to Austria.

Gulacsi left Anfield for Red Bull Salzburg before moving to Leipzig, without playing a Premier League match.

He had four loan spells away from Anfield, playing for Hereford, Tranmere twice and Hull before leaving on a permanent deal for free.

But the Hungary star, 27, is currently rated as the Bundesliga’s top goalkeeper but Kicker.
