As Good As Done: Jack Wilshere Excited Over Arsenal Deal For Mesmerizing Winger – Not Draxler

If there is an area where Arsene  Wenger would be eulogized unanimously by the fans, it is the youth system that has churned and transformed several young players into super stars.

Latest reports according to the Daily Star   is the claim that Football League Championship side Brentford FC are close to sealing a loan for Arsenal youngster Chris Willock.


We have a number of youngsters at Arsenal and for their development, the players are sent on loan.

The manager of Brentford Dean Smith has identified the 18year-year-old winger as a player that can improve his team. Brentford are currently sitting in 6th position on the log.

The winger has been involved for Arsenal senior team in the pre-season of last season and the FA Cup fifth round. However, he was left on the bench on those occasions.

Willock’s potential has been praised by Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

“I’ve played with Chris for a few years in training and last year he came on tour,” Wilshere told Arsenal Player

“I think he has improved, he has become stronger and he is one of those players that have a natural ability running with the ball.

“He can take contact well if someone smashes into him. He has got great balance… if Chris gets his chance I’m sure he will take it.”

Arsenal have sent a couple of players to Brentford on loan and we are keen on strengthen the same relationship.
