Arsenal must break the bank to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window and the latest reports going on in the media are positive.
It is likely that Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal sooner rather than later and according to reports from the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger wants Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha when Chile international joins Manchester City.
Zaha was linked with a move away from Crystal Palace in the summer but then opted to sign a new deal worth £110,000-a-week ($148,000-a-week) with the club, according to The Guardian.
The former Manchester United attacker might be the best player in the bottom half of the table and last month, James McArthur lavished praise on him as quoted by the Daily Mirror:
“He is an outstanding player. A great talent. With younger talent, sometimes you get inconsistency. With Wilfried, his consistency levels are remarkable. He is playing well week in, week out and creating goals and scoring. I would hate to play against him.”
This season, so far, the Ivorian international has played in 15 Premier League games, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists. Is Zaha good enough to replace Sanchez at Arsenal?
