Arsenal will be going back to Manchester United once the January transfer window opens with an offer that they believe will be accepted by Manchester United. Wenger reportedly made a last minute bid for the English man which was rejected by Manchester United but Wenger feels encouraged by the United board and he is now very likely to return back in January.
Wenger also tried to sign Chelsea’s Demba Ba on a season long loan deal but Chelsea pulled the plug on the deal after their manager Jose Mourinho decided he was not going to allow the player join Arsenal who he sees as a potential title threat.
Wayne Rooney has made known his desires to leave Manchester United and according to many reports close to joining Chelsea in the now closed transfer window but United will not have any of it and blocked his move.
With Arsenal still lurking around, should the situation ( he wants first team action as a centre forward ) not improve, it will not be surprising to see the English man playing for Arsenal from January. Arsenal were in the market for a marquee striker but failed in their attempt to sign Luiz Suarez and Higuain.
