Despite the impressive display of Arsenal over the course of their last three games, Arsene Wenger reveals that they will be unrelenting as his team has more to do.
The Gunners put up a dominant performance against the Blues. All the players of Arsenal were turned on for the 90minutes, which left Chelsea with no chance in the game.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil in the first half ensured Arsenal’s first Premier League win over Chelsea for five years.
However Wenger has identified four particular areas he feels they can improve upon:
‘We still have much more to do,’ Wenger told Arsenal.com. ‘In our defensive solidity, in our movement off the ball and without the ball. Our pressing is not always perfect.’
In addition to solidity in defence, movement and pressing, Wenger identified one other area.
‘What is amazing in life is how the energy of a group of people can fluctuate. To maintain an energy in a group no one can master, so the players have to take care of that too.’
Arsenal can begin putting those improvements into practice when they play Basel in the Champions League on Wednesday.
