Real Betis chief Vlada Stosic has made it clear to Arsenal and any other club who may be interested in signing their winger 18 years old Alvaro Vadillo that they have to pay the €20 million release clause the player has in his contract.
Talking to the press yesterday, Vlada Stosic said : “I’ve heard no offers for Vadillo. I want him with us. Unless someone comes and pays the clause or something that is very close to the clause, he will stay.”
It was reported couple of weeks ago by the press in Spain that Arsenal have sent scouts to watch the winger several times last season and in pre-season games this season. Aside Arsenal, Tottenham are also interested in acquiring the highly rated winger.
Vadillo is a regular member of the Spanish under 20 team and as of the time of writing this article, he has made a total of 18 appearance for Real Betis’ first team.
Arsenal are in the market for a new winger after losing the opportunity to sign Brazilian winger Bernard. They recently sold Gervinho to AS Roma and are desperate for new wingers to be signed to the club.
