Arsenal have been told to pay 25 million pounds if they must sign Swansea’s Michu. Days ago, there were reports that Arsenal have shifted focus to the Spanish international having been frustrated in their attempt to sign Liverpool’s Luiz Saurez.
It was believed that a bid of 15 million pounds will be good enough to sign the Spanish but Swansea has other ideas and they have told Arsenal they must pay a whopping 25 million if they want to have any chance of signing the versatile player.
Swansea signed the 27 year old midfielder cum striker whose full name is Miguel Pérez Cuesta Rayo Vallecano for 2 million pounds. He scored a total of 22 goals for Swansea last season.
He is the type of player Arsenal could do with as he can play alone up top, behind the striker or as a creative midfielder. It remains to be seen if Wenger will be willing to pay as much as 25 million to acquire the service of the Spanish.
