Arsenal have been told they have to pay at least 20 million Euros if they will have a chance of signing Valencia’s Vincent Guaita. Earlier yesterday, Talk sports reports Arsenal’s negotiator Dick Law had flown to spend to talk to Valencia in regards to the potential signing of the high rated Goalkeeper.
However, reports from Spain this morning have it that Valencia has turned down Arsenal’s bid which was a bid of 4.5 million Euros according to reports. Valencia are now reportedly angry and have told the gunners they have little or not chance of signing the goalkeeper unless they are ready to trigger his release clause which is pegged at 20 million Euros.
If the reports are true and Arsenal have actually bid 4.5 million Euros for the goalkeeper then one can assume Arsenal have not learnt anything from this transfer window so far. It is disturbing to hear the club bidding so low for a player who has a release clause of 20 million Euros.
Arsenal are yet to make any signing in this summer’s transfer window except that of Yaya Sanogo who was signed from France second division club Auxerre on a free transfer.
