Arsenal have been handed a massive boost in the club’s pursuit of Juventus star Daniele Rugani with the Serie A champions desperate to sell the player.
Respected Italian news news outlet CalcioMercato have reported that Rugani is growing frustrated with the Serie A giants and is looking to move away from the club with Arsenal willing to offer up €40m for the star.
Rugani, who plays as a centre-back for the Serie A club is just 23-year-old but he has established himself in recent seasons as one of the best talented in his position in the and already has impressive 80 appearances for Juventus in the top-flight.
The star however has not been given the playing time he needed at the club that Leonardo Bonucci’s summer move to AC Milan from Juve would have suggested and is eyeing a move away from the club to secure regular playing time.
Rugani who’s standing at 6ft3″ could be the perfect solution our defensive woes at the back having struggled to nail down a consistent starting backline this season. Further, with Arsene Wenger’s continued effort to field three at the back, Daniele Rugani could be a much-needed reinforcement to suit his needs.
