Arsenal have set their sights on Ac Milan and France fringe striker M’Baye Niang for a possible transfer once the January transfer window opens. Niang is an exciting prospect but he has failed to live up to expectation in the serie A and according to reports, he will be seeking a move away from the Italian league once the January transfer window opens.
Niang was linked to Arsenal 2 seasons ago when he was with Caen but chose to join Ac Milan instead. His style of play and his physical attributes has seen him compared to with Italy’s striker Mario Balotelli. It is believed Wenger has spoked to the player and has promised him he will help transform his career should he choose to join the gunners.
Although Ac Milan will be reluctant to let the French man leave as they see him as a long term solution, the reports from Italy claim Wenger is growing increasingly confident that he will be able to convince the player to come to Arsenal.
The Arsenal manager is said to be desperate to recruit another striker in the January transfer window as the gunners are currently short up front. Arsenal hope a bid of 10 million pounds will be enough to convince AC Milan to sell the player as he only have 18 months left on his contract.
