Alvaro Morata is certainly going to be one of the most sought after players in the transfer window this summer. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is said to have started working behind the scene to bring the high rated striker to the Emirates.
The 23-year-old goalscorer is seen by many as one of the most promising players in Europe. This is despite the fact that Juventus have only sparingly used him with manager Maximilano Allergi preferring to play Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic ahead of the Spaniard.
Morata has shown himself to a big stage player. He was Juventus’ best player last week when they took on AC Milan in the Coppa Italia. This is aside scoring against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the Champions League recently.
Unfortunately Juventus could be losing the player this summer. This is because according to reports Real Madrid will be will be activating a buy back clause they have inserted in the player’s contract and then resell him to the highest bidder.
Arsenal is aware of this situation and have reportedly told the player’s representatives that they are ready to offer him as much as £155,000 a week to bring him to the Emirates which will more than double his current wage at Juventus.
