Despite having a large squad, Arsene Wenger is yet keen on bolstering his squad with youngster players to secure the future of the club.
Reports according A bola claims Arsenal and Liverpool had their scouts present at Porto match against SC Braga in order to watch Andre Silva.
The striker has scored seven goals in 12 Liga Nos appearances, and has already won capps for his his country Portugal.
Although he failed to score during Porto’s 1-0 victory over Braga on Saturday, we’re obviously aware of him if we’re scouting him along with Liverpool.
However, the report claims that the player has a whopping €60m release clause in his contract, which makes him somewhat un-buyable for Wenger.
I’m sure Arsenal (and Liverpool) were at the game on Saturday. There’s no smoke without fire. But it’s more likely just curiosity rather than serious intent at this stage.
