Arsenal faces Burnley at the Turf Moore tomorrow and we will be without Oliver Giroud, Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey.
Arsene Wenger who celebrates 20years at the helms for Arsenal today, provided a team update ahead of the clash with the Clarets.
The Gunners will be looking to translate their fine for to the game as they aim to extend their unbeaten runs to nine games.
“Aaron Ramsey should be available after the international break,” said the manager, with the Welshman carrying a hamstring injury.
“Giroud will be out,” Wenger added, with the striker, who has not yet started a league game this season, sidelined with a toe injury. “He will not come back.
On midfielder Coquelin, who has a knee injury, Wenger said: “He is looking much better but he will still not be ready.
“The ligament is not as damaged as we thought but we have to be careful.”
However, Arsenal have a large squad to select from and the absence of the aforementioned players would not affect the team which is interesting considering how Wenger has often left us short over the years.
This year we have enough cover in all positions and I sincerely doubt our campaign can this year be derailed by injuries. The only thing that can stop us from winning the title this season is our players not playing up to capacity and Wenger himself not being ruthless enough.
Although bookmakers such as footyinformer.com, Bet365 and the likes don’t have Arsenal as the favorite for the title, but I see us nicking it ahead of the clear favorites, Manchester City.
