Arsenal are reportedly still determined to fend off competition from Liverpool as they look to sign Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Spaniard in recent months and these rumours don’t seem to be going away, with El Confidencial, via talkSPORT, claiming that a formal offer could be made for Ceballos.
Ceballos is said to be angling for a move away from the Bernabeu Stadium due to the lack of game time he has received under Zinedine Zidane.
Hopes were high for the talented midfielder following his move from Real Betis last summer. However, he has not been able to make an impact with Los Blancos and could be set for an early exit from the club this summer.
Ceballos was named as the Player of the Tournament at the UEFA European Under-21 Championships, which only further convinced Real Madrid of his qualities.
However, things have not worked out in Madrid and Arsenal will be hoping to beat Liverpool to the signing of Ceballos this summer.
