Injuries have bedeviled Arsenal in previous seasons and this season is looking no different and there are players yet sidelined with various degrees of injuries.
Arsenal cruised passed the Cherries in the League yesterday after two draws but one of the goal scorers Theo Walcott raised concerns when he was seen nurturing his leg but Wenger has dismissed any possible injury fears.
The earliest to come of the game was Mathieu Debuchy, who just had his first start for Arsenal in the League since last year November. He will be checked by tomorrow to know the severity of the injury. His compatriot Oliver Giroud is said to have picked up a possible hamstring injury but Wenger said it is nothing serious.
Debuchy had most likely been looking forward to a run in the first-team due to the absence of Hector Bellerin, but now looks likely to be unavailable until way beyond his return. The Spaniard revealed that he is expected to start running within the coming week, and will hopefully be ready to train within two weeks.
Cazorla is the player every one wants back given his creativity in midfield and ball retention ability. However, we learnt that he traveled to Spain to see a specialist but there is no telling how soon the Spaniard will return to the fold. He is still battling with an Achilles injury.
Lucas Perez is back in training however and could even be set to take part against Southampton in midweek, and may well play an important role in the coming weeks if Olivier is ruled out.
