Bacary Sagna believe the players have done all they can to bring in new players for the season.
Sagna was part of the Arsenal team who secured an impressive 3-0 away victory to Fenerbahce to put one foot in the Champions League group stages. The uncertainty over Arsenal’s European fate has made some players question a move to the Emirates but the clubs recent play-off victory has all but guaranteed their participation.
The club are working on deals for Real Madrid pair Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema while a new bid for Yohan Cabaye is set to be offered too. The targets are more likely to want a move to Arsenal following their positive result over Fenerbahce.
“Getting in to the Champions League is so important for the club in terms of moving forward and attracting new players and also for the players and the fans. For many years now we have become used to qualifying for the Champions League.”
“We knew it was a big game and that we had to perform and we did it well. It was a great night for Arsenal.”
The defender is certain that signings will start to happen from now until the end of the transfer window.
