Arsenal are monitoring the situation surrounding a Benfica teenager who could be available in a cut-price deal, according to reports.
Gunners site DailyCannon claims that talented attacking midfielder Joao Felix will be allowed to leave the Portuguese giants for around €40m, despite having a release clause of €60m.
A number of top European clubs have been linked with the 18-year-old, including Manchester City, Manchester United, AC Milan, Monaco and PSG.
All of the above have scouted Joao Felix, but Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira is apparently confident that the player will stay past the summer.
The report goes on the state that the player could be about to partner up with agent Jorge Mendes, meaning Benfica could secure a much higher fee if they did feel the need to sell.
Felix currently plays for Benfica B, but will be called up to the senior squad if he does stay beyond the summer.
