If talksport sources are to be believed, Arsenal will have to battle for the signature of Napoli Juan Camilo Zuniga with Barcelona after officials from the Catalonia club met with the player’s representatives earlier this week. According to reports, Napoli have told the player he has to sign a new contract or risk been sold once the January transfer window opens.
The player who is out of contract this summer is yet to agree terms on a new deal with Napoli and the club may be forced to sell to avoid him leaving on a free transfer next summer.
There have been reports that the player is close to agreeing terms on a new deal with Napoli but Talksport sources in Italy claim the player has changed his mind after his agent met with his representative earlier this week.
Juan Camilo Zuniga who can play anywhere in defense has been on Arsenal radar for the last 2 transfer windows with reports claiming the gunners are ready to make a cut price deal for the Colombian once the January transfer window opens.
Aside Arsenal and Barcelona, Juventus are also said to be interested in the service of the player who may be available for as little as 6 million Euros should he choose not to sign a new contract with Napoli.
