Angry Giroud To Be Replaced By Highly Coveted Striker In January

The international break is now over, and we await the return of our players from their countries in time ahead for the Premier League game with Swansea.

There is a lot going on in the transfer front for Arsenal and there are reports now claiming that we have been scouting Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel.

Defrel, 25, joined Sassuolo from Cesena  in the summer of last season for an undisclosed fee. He has been in blistering form this season, scoring seven goals in nine games.

He has been coveted by several Premier League clubs including Tottenham and Swansea but Arsenal are front runners for his signature.

And after a quick start this campaign – including the winner against Udinese on Sunday – he is on the shop window for Premier League clubs.

Arsene Wenger started Alexis Sanchez up front in the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday, with Olivier Giroud and new boy Lucas Perez on the bench – Giroud is now reportedly unhappy over being left on the bench more often than not.
