Arsenal target Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that he’ll stay at Juventus next season, effectively ending rumors linking him with a move to Arsenal.

The Italian manager has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal to replace legendary manager Arsene Wenger who stepped down at the end of this season after 22 years in charge.

The 50-year-old has now stated that he will remain at the club next season if they don’t fire him, “Next week, I’ll meet with the club as we start to make the team competitive again just like every year” He said.

“If they don’t fire me, then I think I’m staying at Juventus next year, too.”

Allegri led Juve to their seventh consecutive title win [The fourth since he took over], and they also won the Coppa Italia for the fourth time in his four years in charge.

The attention has now been turned to former Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta who has become favorite to succeed the man under whom he played for five years at Arsenal.
