The season is now in full swing for Arsenal and the club are on a steady improvement in terms of how we’v have been faring in all competitions.
If reports making the rounds are anything to go by, Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Fulham wonder kid Ryan Sessegnon, who is close to joining Tottenham.
After making his debut for the Cottagers in their 1-1 draw with Leeds United last month, the 16-year-old has been tipped as one with the brightest future prospect.
He has since gone on to make a further four league appearances and has scored two goals – becoming the division’s youngest-ever goalscorer in the process.
His impressive cameos for club has seen his draw attraction from top Premier League clubs Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.
But the Daily Mirror claim Spurs are the favourites to secure Sessegnon’s signature in the winter window.
This will come as a blow to United, Liverpool and Arsenal who have all apparently made enquiries to sign the £5million-rated teenager.
Arsenal reportedly made an offer to sign the versatile youngster on deadline day, only for it to be rejected by Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.
