It’s been over two months since the open of the transfer market and over three months since last season ended but Wenger seem to have lost lots of Arsenal transfer target and is probably waiting for the last week of the window to sign players.
According to a report cited in Turkey, Besiktas president Fikret Orman has flown to London and will hold talks with some Top Premier League clubs over a deal for Wilfried Bony, who is also on the radar of Arsenal.
The report was confirmed by Besiktas manager Senol Gunes who confirmed that the principal of the club is in London to hold talks for an imminent transfer deal.
Gunes was quoted by Turkish Football:
“The boss [Fikret Orman] is in London holding talks, we left transfers late last season as well.”
The report claims that the Black Eagles want Bony on loan as they would be unable to match the player’s asking price due to the FFP. This leaves Arsenal as frontrunners for the player’s signature but there is no telling if the Gunners are genuinely interested in the player.
Bony, is valued at £30 million and has been left out of Manchester City Premier League match and Champions League play off.
