The North London Derby is much talked about in the Premier League and the game will present sterner test for Arsenal in the Premier League so far.
However, both team have been somewhat decimated by injuries to some of their key player. What has been dubbed as an advantage for Arsenal is the latest injury to Tottenham’s winger Erik Lamela, who is said to be a doubt for the derby game this Sunday.
The skillful South-American was not in action in Tottenham’s defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League earlier this week, with initial reports claiming that he could be fit for Arsenal’s game. However, reports according to Physioroom ruled out the player.
Lamela now adds to the worrying injury list for Pochettino that includes Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld, Moussa Dembele who all all major doubts for the game.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino on his own part confirmed Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld won’t be fit enough to start against Arsenal on Sunday and should Lamela also not be fit enough to start or play at all, Pochettino may struggle to field a strong XI for the clash.
