According to daily star Valencia are considering sending suspended Adil Rami on loan once the January transfer window opens and the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United likely destination. The French man is currently serving a 10 game ban imposed on him by Valencia after his out burst on the sale of Roberto Soldado and Alberto Costa.
According to the reports, Rami’s representative have made it clear to Valencia that their client wants out of the club and as such the club have also told the player and his representative he will be allowed to leave in January on loan. According to the reports, whoever signs Rami on loan will have to be ready to pay his full wages.
Arsenal and Manchester city were reportedly interested in signing the player in the last summer transfer window but none of the 2 clubs could match his £9m valuation. The report however claim Arsenal will try to sign the player once again in the January window as they look for additional cover in the centre of their defence.
If true, I personally would not mind having him at Arsenal. Rami is definitely a good player and as we only have 3 centre backs, I will not mind him at Arsenal. Although as a national team player, he will want regular first team action which is not possible at Arsenal at the moment but as the season goes on and considering our luck with injuries, he will definitely get his chances.
