Everyone now knows Arsenal are already out of the title race and are currently 6th in the Premier League table. The Gunners must strengthen their team in the winter transfer window if they are to get back to their wining ways and also securing a spot in the Champions League next season.
As far as Arsenal transfers are concerned, the North London club have been linked with numerous quality attackers and one who’s likely to join the club in Lyon star Nabil Fekir.
Last month, the Daily Star claimed Arsenal are close to agreeing a £60million deal to sign the French attacking midfielder. The British tabloid claimed that the deal was almost a done deal.
As per new report from Daily Star, the Ligue 1 side are not ready to let their prized asset leave the club in the New Year which means he’s likely to join the Gunners in the summer.
It is mentioned that Arsenal are looking to sign Fekir to replace Alexis Sanchez but they might have to wait until next summer to do that because the Ligue 1 side are refusing to sell him next month.
Fekir has been in superb form for the French side this season. In 22 appearances across all competition for Lyon, he has directly contributed in 18 goals so far netting 15 goals and registering 3 assists.
If Nabil cannot join Arsenal in January then Arsene Wenger’s must hold on to Alexis until the end of the season. That way they will lose the Chilean for free but selling him in January without signing a replacement would be worse.
