In a bid to secure the future of the club, Arsenal are yet unrelenting in the transfer market with various reports linking us to some players.
If reports making the rounds are anything to go by, Arsenal are keenly interested in the signature of Andre Silva, who plies his trade for Portuguese outfit FC Porto.
The 20-year-old has already scored five League goals in seven appearances (two assists) and O Jogo claims he has a buyout clause of a whopping £52.5m.
Porto were involved in a Champions League clash with Premier League side Leicester City and Arsenal scout were reportedly present to watch the player.
According to O Jogo, Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the 20year old for well over a year. Arsenal’s interest stemmed from the players performance in the Under-20 world Cup where he scored four goals in the colors of Portugal.
It’s reported that Wenger has asked to be constantly updated with Silva’s progress and is aware of the striker’s potential.
Silva has scored five goals in nine appearances for Porto this term and has had two capps for Portugal national team already.
He is valued at £52.5 million.
