Although, Arsenal have been steadily grinding out results from games, there’s not been fluidity in the team’s display and this has been attributed to the selection Wenger makes.
Today, we face Hull City in the Premier League in a very tricky tie and we expect Wenger to tweak the team that faced Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League this week. We saw a midfield that played without cohesion. It was difficult to point out the creative midfielder in the game as all the midfielders were roaming about like they had no position on the pitch.
Questions were raised over the decision to drop Xhaka for Coquelin who made Ozil very inefficient with his terrible positioning in the Champions League game. Mustafi also appeared unsettled but that is what you get when a player does not partake in pre-season games and you don’t do you transfer market business on time.
There are currently no real injury concerns bar Oliver Giroud’s dislocated toe. Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey are in contention for the game, Gabriel Paulista has also returned as well. Wenger now has a very large squad to select from but having learnt from previous games, i expect to see change in the midfield and attack for Arsenal.
This is how we think Arsenal will line-up vs Hull City
