4-3-3 FORMATION; New Signing Mustafi & Ozil Starts, Xhaka Benched In Arsenal Probable Line-Up Vs Watford

Arsenal finally secured their first points of the Premier League campaign against Leicester last weekend and although three points would have been massive, we had the brilliant Laurent Koscielny to thank for the point.

Boss Arsene Wenger said, after the game, that Koscielny was pivotal to the one point gained against the reigning champions, despite carrying a back problem prior to the game. Arsenal also had referee Mark Clattenburg to thank as he denied The Foxes a late penalty for Hector Bellerin’s foul on Ahmed Musa.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s next game sees them travel to Vicarage Road to battle Watford and, the Gunners will be aiming to come out of the encounter with full points in order to get their campaign back on track.

Now, we have predicted the Gunners’ possible starting XI, with possible new signing Shkodran Mustafi against The Hornets come Saturday;

Petr Cech is expected to start between the sticks for Arsenal once again and the former Chelsea shot stopper will be aiming to keep another clean sheet in order to help his team to victory.

In defence, Bellerin, probable new signing Mustafi will be thrusted into the game , Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal should resume duties – with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista still out injured. All four players were brilliant against Leicester and on Saturday, they will be led by the experienced Koscielny to put Watford’s Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo at bay.

Francis Coquelin is expected to feature from start once again, but Grant Xhaka could drop to the bench following his average performance last weekend, allowing Jack Wilshere to be Coquelin’s central midfield partner.

German ace Mesut Ozil is likely to be given a nod from the start, as his impact was felt after coming on for the Gunners last weekend. Alexis Sanchez should start from the left wing, with Theo Walcott attacking from the right.

For Saturday – as things could change soon with a new striker almost in – Olivier Giroud should resume duties as Arsenal striker, as Wenger will want his side to quickly do the damage in the first half of the encounter.
