4-2-3-1 Formation: Wenger To Shock Fans With New Centre-Back Against Manchester City

Today is the day of our final pre-season game and we face Manchester City in Sweden later today.

The match is worth a watch given the fact that the Manchester City are a quality opposition. To an extent, the match will help the player’s fitness and give us an idea of the how Arsenal will start the season.

Bar the signing of  Granit Xhaka, Arsenal are yet to sign an established player but Wenger confirmed ahead of this game that he will sign an attacker and defender.

No doubt, Arsenal have a crop of quality players but we are short of a player of two to become genuine title contenders

Whatever the score in todays match, it is a pre-season and shouldn’t steer doubt already. This is how I think Arsenal will line up against Manchester City.

Petr Cech missed the game kin Norway and I think he will get the nod over Ospina in-between the sticks.

With most of our centre backs sidelined, I think we’ll have the pair of Chambers and Gabriel at the heart of defense then Bellerin and Monreal will be our full backs.

There a few players to select from in this position. I am sure Xhaka will be featured with Elneny made to play close to him. Cazorla will be marshalling this position.

Although , still very young, Iwobi might be given the nod of the right wing while Campbell will play in his opposite direction. I think Sanchez will sign be made to play as the front man.

Goodluck to the boys.
