Less than a week after Arsenal were rumoured to be willing to pay up to £125m for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe, the Gunners have reportedly made a bid of £124m.

Arsenal were previously said to be willing to pay up to £125m for 18-year-old Mbappe, who’s also attracting the attention of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-German. However, now, the Gunners have reportedly gone ahead and, along with PSG, made Monaco an offer of £124m (€140m) for their star striker.

According to Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, Mbappe’s future lies in his hands and the report doesn’t say whether Monaco are considering accepting either offer.

The French teenager has been on Arsene Wenger’s radar for a number of years and if Arsenal really have bid £124m for the international, this will blow every existing transfer record out of the window.

On the other hand, in the media, the Gunners alleged pursuit of Mbappe has been hot and cold, with the club dropping interest and then supposedly reigniting it an hour later.

Real Madrid are apparently willing to sell Gareth Bale to bring the talented starlet to La Liga, while PSG are also reportedly keen to pull out all the stops to snag their man.

It seems as if Mbappe has some big decisions to make this summer.
